Samburu Nationalpark Lodge entrim Mara Lodge
The Sentrim Mara Lodge is located next to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, 3 km from Sekenani Gate. The entire camp extends over 100 hectares of quiet, natural vegetation. The main guest area consists of the reception, lounge, restaurant, bar, fireplace, pool bar, Jacuzzi and pool. The Sentrim Mara Camp consists of 44 tents and 14 deluxe lodges. In addition there are 3 family houses á 2 rooms. All rooms are equipped with toilet and hot/cold shower. A save is available in the office of the lodge management.

The Massai Mara is a large game reserve in southwest Kenya. The name is derived from the Masai people and the Mara River, which divides it into eastern and western parts. The extensive savannah meadows between the rolling hills are home to a great variety of wildlife. Each year between June and October, approximately 2.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras migrate through the Masai Mara on their Great Migration between the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and the Masai Mara in Kenya. This spectacle was recently declared the 7th wonder of nature. Masai Mara is a permanent home for lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, elephants, buffalo, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, antelopes and about 400 species of birds.

Maasai Mara is 260 km from Nairobi and takes 4 ½ hours by car and 40 minutes by plane. The transfer from the airfield to the camp takes 30 minutes.

Climate Temperatures average 26° C during the day and 12° C at night. From mid April to May there is longer rainfall and from November to early December short rains are expected.
